Frequently asked questions

How long will it take to receive my title?

Plus sign

We receive your title within 3-5 business days, and your full credit limit will become available once our team receives your title.

When will I be charged the $40.00 annual fee?

Plus sign

The $40.00 annual fee is applied after the first purchase, so you will see it on statement with your first purchase. After your first year, the annual fee will be applied to your account in the month of your account opening.

Can I get a higher credit limit?

Plus sign

Unfortunately, we cannot offer you a higher credit limit. Your final offer is your final offer for the vehicle that you applied with. If you would like to apply with a different vehicle, we can terminate your current application, and you may start a new one.

Why am I being offered less than what the car is worth?

Plus sign

1. We understand that you may be surprised by your offer and want you to know that your vehicle is worth more than we are able to offer you. This is by design. While your credit line is largely based on a percentage of your vehicle's value, we also consider factors like depreciation and other risks to make sure the credit line is both secure and manageable for you.

2. This approach helps us provide a stable and reliable credit line that works well with your financial situation. We're committed to offering you the best possible amount while ensuring the process remains safe and beneficial for you.

What happens if my car gets repossessed?

Plus sign

We hope this doesn’t happen to you. However, in the event of a repossession, we will communicate with you about the status of your repossession and give you options for getting your vehicle back.

I'm worried about you repossessing my car.

Plus sign

We understand your concern and want you to know that we do not want to repossess your car. It's always our last option. As long as you're making at least your minimum payments, your account will remain in good standing and not be at risk of repossession. We have systems set up to help you keep your account in good standing like payment reminders and autopay, and our minimum payments are more affordable compared to those for alternative loans. We also accept a variety of payment methods like debit cards, ACH, cash, Apple Pay, Google, PayPal and Venmo.

How long does it take to get my title back?

Plus sign

Each DMV is different, and the mailing times may vary, but most people get their titles within a few weeks. Once your account is fully paid off, we will release our lien within 1 business day. Then, your state's DMV will start the process of sending the title to you.

What if I want to sell my car?

Plus sign

If you want to sell your car, then you'll need to close your account. Our Support team can help you with this. They’ll ensure your account is fully paid off and start the process for releasing our lien. Once our lien is released, you will be able to move forward with your sale while the DMV is mailing your title to you.

How do I get my title back if I cancel?

Plus sign

You can get your title back at any time by paying off your balance and giving us a call to close your account. Once we verify that your account balance is $0, Yendo will close your account and remove its lien from your title. We will then release the title to you

Can I use my virtual card for in person purchases?

Plus sign

Yes, you can use your virtual credit card to make in-person purchases. Just add it to your mobile wallet on your phone and use Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay at checkout. The store must accept tap-to-pay for this to work, but many stores have this functionality these days.
