Will I need to have my vehicle inspected?
No, Yendo does not require an in-person vehicle inspection. However, during the application process, you will be asked to upload photos of your vehicle through the Yendo app to verify its condition.
What kind of vehicles are eligible for Yendo credit?
Yendo accepts cars, trucks, SUVs, and vans that are 1996 or newer and in working condition. The vehicle must be owned outright or have an auto loan. The credit line is determined based on factors such as the vehicle’s year, make, model, mileage, and overall condition.
How quickly can I access my credit after applying?
Most Yendo cardholders can access a partial credit limit within an hour after mailing their vehicle title. Your virtual credit card will be available immediately for use online or with mobile wallets like Apple Pay and Google Pay. Once your title is processed, your full credit limit will become available.
Does applying for the Yendo card affect my credit score?
When you apply for the Yendo card, we perform a soft credit check, which does not affect your credit score. However, once you accept an offer and open an account, we will perform a hard credit check which may affect your credit score and once your account is opened, we will report your account activity to the credit bureaus, which may impact your score positively or negatively depending on how you manage your account.
Is there a minimum credit score required to apply for the Yendo credit card?
No, there is no minimum credit score required to apply for the Yendo credit card. We welcome applicants of all credit backgrounds, including those with no credit or low credit scores. Our approval is based on other factors like the value of your vehicle and your ability to repay.
What happens if I return a purchase made with my Yendo card?
If you return a purchase made with your Yendo card, the refund will be credited back to your account. Depending on the merchant’s refund process, it may take a few business days for the funds to appear as available credit.
Will my credit limit increase if my vehicle’s value goes up?
No, Yendo’s credit limit is based on the assessed value of your vehicle at the time of application. If you believe your vehicle's value has increased significantly, you can reapply with the same or another vehicle, but this will require a new application.
Can I set up autopay for my Yendo credit card?
Yes, you can set up autopay in the Yendo mobile app. Go to the Payments section, choose Auto Pay, and set the payment amount to be automatically deducted each month. This can help you avoid late payments and keep your account in good standing.
How does Yendo handle fraud protection?
Yendo is a Mastercard credit card, which includes Mastercard's Zero Liability Protection. This means you won’t be held responsible for unauthorized purchases. If you notice any suspicious activity, report it immediately through the Yendo app or contact customer support.
Will I receive a monthly statement in the mail?
Yendo provides electronic statements only. You can access your monthly statements by logging into the Yendo mobile app and selecting the "Statements" option. If you need a printed copy, you can download the statement and print it from your device.
