What should I do if I’m experiencing financial hardship and can’t make my payments?

If you’re facing financial difficulties, contact Yendo’s customer support as soon as possible. We may be able to offer assistance, such as extending your due date or setting up a payment plan. It’s important to communicate early to avoid late fees or further credit impact.

What is “overlimit”?

If your balance exceeds your credit limit, your account is considered overlimit. You will need to make a payment that brings your balance below your credit before your card can be unblocked.

If I miss a payment, do I lose my car?

Repossession is always our last option. As long as you keep your account in good standing, your vehicle will not be at risk of repossession. To keep your account in good standing, just make your minimum payment each month. Our minimum payments (hyperlink “minimum payments to the minimum payments FAQ) are more affordable than non-traditional alternatives like title loans. As a lienholder, we can exercise our right to recover an outstanding balance, but we won’t do this unless we’ve exhausted all other options.

How many days do I have to repay?

You have 25 days after the end of your monthly statement to make a payment. You can make payments at any time. Please remember that you will need to make at least a minimum payment to keep your account in good standing and your vehicle not at risk for repossession. Your minimum payment is 1% of your statement balance + any interest and fees or $50, whichever is the greater.

What will my credit line be?

We offer credit lines between $450 to $10,000. Your unique offer will be based on a percentage of your vehicle’s value and a few other factors. Please remember that your vehicle will always be worth more than we are able to provide.

While your credit line is largely based on a percentage of your vehicle's value, we also consider factors like depreciation and other risks to make sure the credit line is both secure and manageable for you. This means that while the Kelley Blue Book or other tools might show a higher value for your vehicle, the amount we can offer is adjusted to reflect these considerations.

Does Yendo build my credit?

Yes, using a Yendo credit card can help build your credit. We report your account activity to the three major credit bureaus - Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion. This reporting helps establish and improve your credit score as long as you use the card responsibly by making on-time payments. Keep in mind that factors outside of Yendo control like your other credit reporting accounts may also impact your credit score.

What is my due date?

Once you become a cardholder and a billing cycle is set, your due date will be 25 days after the end of your billing cycle.

Am I at risk of my car being repossessed?
